On Thursday, December 26, 2024, Associate Professor Dr. Somkiat Chaipiboon, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication, along with executives, faculty members, staff, and students, participated in the 2024 Annual Staff and Executive Relations Sports Competition organized by Maejo University.

The event was inaugurated by Associate Professor Dr. Weerapon Thongma, President of Maejo University, who presided over the opening ceremony.

This activity aimed to promote physical health and well-being through exercise, foster teamwork within the faculty, and strengthen bonds with staff from other departments across the university. The sports event highlighted camaraderie and the spirit of unity among Maejo University personnel.

On Monday, March 24, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication, Maejo University organized a Final Orientation for Cooperative Education and a Graduation Orientation for fourth-year undergraduate students majoring in Digital CommunicationThe event featured two distinguished alumni as guest speakers:Mr. Asda Likhitboonma (nicknamed “P’Tu”) from KamMuan Studio, a renowned film director best known for the blockbuster film “Term 3: The Parade Episode,” along with several other film and series projects.Mr. Witawat Phumpradit, a successful digital content creator who generates income through still images, graphics, motion content, and creative work published on Canva and TikTokBoth alumni shared their personal journeys, professional experiences, and insights to inspire and motivate the next generation of students in their academic and career paths. Faculty members and staff also participated in the event, attending student presentations on their cooperative education experiences and joining in the final send-off celebration.4o

Faculty of Information and Communication Partners with Mekong Basin Dust Station for TV Recording on Wildfire and PM2.5 Issues – Episode 1: "Volunteers Against Dust

On March 21, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication and the Student Club of the Faculty of Information and Communication, Maejo University, in collaboration with Mekong Basin Dust Station – Year 4, recorded the first episode of the communication forum series on wildfire and PM2.5 issues, titled "Volunteers Against Dust."The recording took place at the television studio on the first floor of the 75th Anniversary Building at Maejo University. The forum featured discussions with academics, researchers, and local community leaders from wildfire and PM2.5-affected areas, including:Assoc. On March 7, 2025, the Welfare Committee of Maejo University, in collaboration with the Faculty of Information and Communication, organized a hands-on training workshop on "Creative Media Development for Career Enhancement and Online Marketing" for university staff.Mr. Suchart Chankaeo, Acting Head of Welfare at Maejo University, presided over the opening ceremony.
