Faculty of Information and Communication paid respect and performed the traditional water-pouring ceremony for the President and Vice President of Maejo University

On Friday, April 11, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Somkiat Chaipiboon, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication, Maejo University, together with administrators, faculty members, and staff, paid their respects and performed the traditional Songkran water-pouring ceremony for Associate Professor Dr. Weerapon Thongma, President of Maejo University, and Associate Professor Dr. Kriangsak Sringernyuang, Vice President. The ceremony was held to promote auspiciousness and to preserve the traditional culture of the Songkran Festival (Pi Mai Mueang) 2025.

Faculty of Information and Communication, Maejo University, Hosts Final Orientation for Fourth-Year and Cooperative Education Students – Alumni Filmmaker and Content Creator Inspire the Next Generation

On Monday, March 24, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication, Maejo University organized a Final Orientation for Cooperative Education and a Graduation Orientation for fourth-year undergraduate students majoring in Digital CommunicationThe event featured two distinguished alumni as guest speakers:Mr. Asda Likhitboonma (nicknamed “P’Tu”) from KamMuan Studio, a renowned film director best known for the blockbuster film “Term 3: The Parade Episode,” along with several other film and series projects.Mr. Witawat Phumpradit, a successful digital content creator who generates income through still images, graphics, motion content, and creative work published on Canva and TikTokBoth alumni shared their personal journeys, professional experiences, and insights to inspire and motivate the next generation of students in their academic and career paths. Faculty members and staff also participated in the event, attending student presentations on their cooperative education experiences and joining in the final send-off celebration.4o
