Faculty of Information and Communication Partners with Blackmagic Design Asia Pte Ltd and Chiang Mai Expert Co., Ltd. to Host a Film Production Workshop

On December 19, 2024, the Faculty of Information and Communication collaborated with Blackmagic Design Asia Pte Ltd and Chiang Mai Expert Co., Ltd. to organize a workshop aimed at enhancing knowledge and understanding of the film production process. The event was designed to build skills for participants, ranging from beginners to those preparing for professional-level work, and took place at the High-End Film Studio (Film Lab), 1st Floor, Faculty of Information and Communication.During the workshop, participants gained hands-on experience in production techniques, explored new technologies for digital media production using Blackmagic equipment, and learned to utilize Blackmagic systems for editing, color correction, sound design, and visual effects. A key highlight was the practical training on DaVinci Resolve, covering end-to-end editing workflows. Students worked directly with equipment provided by the company, enabling them to experiment and learn independently while having their questions addressed.This workshop aimed to equip students with practical knowledge and inspire their passion for filmmaking. The hands-on experience provided a deeper understanding of production work, empowering students with real-world skills and confidence to pursue their aspirations in the field of media and film production.
